Gae-goori, a young man in his 30s, spends every day in a narrow, damp room where light barely reaches.

Goori has spent his entire life jumping as high as he possibly could, but no matter how high he leapt, he could never see the end. Eventually, he lost even the meaning of jumping.

Now, Goori no longer prepares to leap; instead, he stretches his legs straight and tries to drift into a deep sleep.

And there is someone watching him.
